يُوضع الصابون الأسود على كامل الجسم المبلل أثناء حمام ساخن أو تحت الدش، مع التدليك بحركات دائرية صغيرة (مع تجنب ملامسة الوجه والعينين)، ويُترك لمدة 5 إلى 10 دقائق.
يُشطف بالماء الدافئ، ولأفضل النتائج يُقشَّر الجلد باستخدام الليفة المغربية (الكيس) بحركات دائرية لطيفة لإزالة الخلايا الميتة بالكامل.
